That's a local boat {JB}, you might recognize the slips. Couple of years back a much nicer one sold with a mooring in Currambene Creek for $800!

This boat is just an example of an out of favour size in our current market and represents marvellous value for someone getting into the sport provided they have enough sense to wait for a good one. I remember them being $7000 new in 1970 when built at the SpitBridge marina where my dads was berthed and I learned to sail.
Most people just day sail around the harbour or protected Bays and occasionally stick their nose out the heads on nice days. This boat is perfect and very comfortable and safe for that. Conversely it is bad news for anyone that has a good one and might have upgraded a bit with new sails etcetera.
Contrast this with the price of catamarans at the moment which is absurd purely due to the fact that it is an in favour segment probably due to YouTube videos.
