This is the SS34 Yemaya that sailed out from San Francisco by Linda a bit over 12 months ago. This is an Aquafibre hull from the same mould as Edward Heath's "Morning Cloud". The interior is exactly the same. These were the original SS34 mass produced boats and are considerably lighter than the Australian versions and all had keel stepped masts.
The Boat's Story (from Linda Pasquariello 2013) Lina II (hull 63) was built for M. Dentraygues of France by Auqafibre (U.K)in 1970. At some point she was sold to Jean Paul Lambrechts of Nieuport Belgium. He sailed her via the Panama Canal and arrived in San Francisco in 1986. She was purchased by Pacific Marine Foundation of Bellingham W.A in April 2003. Then she was purchased by Simon Golledge in 2003 and moved to Los Angeles. In 2012 I purchased Lina II and renamed her Yemaya. I moved her back to San Francisco to refit her and get ready to take her on a singlehanded voyage of the world.
