Well early American history is probably not our strong point - you should probably ask us did William Lawson really cross the Blue Mountains??? But with a bit of quick online research I can see that George Washington did indeed cross the Delaware and there appears to be a multitude of historical documents that back this up.... as there is for the Crossing of the Blue Mountains by Lawson and a couple of his mates, Blaxland and Wentworth - if you were curious for the answer.

My point being, history and facts are available to us today based on evidence - of which you seem unable to provide regarding your designs.

Throw us a bone, give us some actual proof of your designs, I dare ya!!!

10 dungers out of the first 30 is actually pretty good!
Out of those 1st 30 included 6' x 22" what became"bunker" boards, 7' x 17" what became "Hanalei miniguns", 9'7" x 19 7/8 full gun, an actual "normal at the time 6'4" x 20 single with 4" sidebites, and a 5'8" twin with 6.5" fins.
Ist board was ridden in 1967. 5th was ridden by summer '67.
By the time I joined the Army in '70, had shaped 112 boards.
Shaped over 200 more after discharge, took up motocross in '77.

You are off by 1 or 2 years.
In 1967, mid 7 foot boards were ridden most places in US. We'd already seen pictures of deep V boards but were stuck copying Hawaiin mini guns with more width.
By late '67, 6' Bunker boards were all over SanDiego breaks, especially along Sunset Cliffs.
The reason I made a short, thick, downrailed board was because longer blanks were not available at the time, and my previous year board was a 7'7" x 22 deep V bottom "copy" of the Nat/Midget/McTavish designs of late '66.
I needed float then, so barely skinned the blank and down rails were easy to shape.
Not an innovator by any means, I copied and modified.

Interesting! Photoshoot were in April/May, but they were releasing the board in January back then.?

I'm not saying the production board were not good, but it is really possible that you were using a custom painted as a evo and that would be find, they still do it now with many brands. Could be a prototype that would be used for the official version as well. If shape and dimension were similar, why not?
