Ok kids, looks like we'll check out Phillip Street at Beachmere around 1030-1100 and if it's no good we can head over to Turners to chop up Bribie jellyfish.

I am going to try Turners now if any locals see me on a sandbank looking like a newby.

Hey PWB, you should have come down to Phillip Street. Great fun freeride sailing today in the open water, the most windsurfers at Phillip Street in ages. Adam, Mal, Tony, Brent, Brad and myself it was great to have everyone catch up for a sail. 10-12 knots at 1030 so kicked off with 8 to 8.5m sails and dropped to 7m when the wind got up into the 15-20 knots, plenty of bumps and jumps and a few patches of jellyfish to annoy anyone who fell off in them. We packed up when we started to run out of water and the wind really came in hard, it's blowing like crazy here right now.

Good stuff Peter, keep an eye on here and you'll see where we're sailing, you're welcome to join us for a sail anytime. Turners is great because it can be sailed on all tides but the water is definitely calmer at the bottom of the tide when the sand bank is out. There's a crazy easterly blowing here at the moment, we just slipped up to the RSL for a steak and went down the waterfront for a look and it's well over 30 knots.

I plan to head out a bit later. So hot right now I don't have the energy to pack up my gear. Might head out after lunch.

There was about 5 or 6 people sailing at Turner's camp yesterday from about 11 till 4 the wind was very up and down. I also setup a 7 metre and was overpowered sometimes and no wind sometimes it was hard work. Hoping to have a sail somewhere tomorrow arvo either Pacific Harbour or Turner's camp.

Hoping to get there around 2 or 3 o'clock Jeff is going to turn up about 4:30 and John can sail as well.

Fantastic arvo at Turners camp Bribie, finally got a chance to ride the hypersonic, it was amazing over the chop, wont be getting rid of that anytime soon. Anyway brilliant afternoon beautiful water and a great crowd as always.

Yep a great afternoon. Felt I had more success in the chop than I'm used too.

Tides terrible tomorrow. Anyone going any where?

John and me are talking about sailling sandstone early morning and then the afternoon. Pope John is selling the incoming tide at South Esplanade. South Esplanade is a good option mid morning.

If it is blowing first thing I'll sail Sandstone on the high tide as we'll really only have until 8am. I'll post on here if Adam and I are sailing for anyone that wants to crawl out of bed early and join us.

A grey and breezy morning at Sandstone. The combo of a bad sail choice and lack of water has got me on the bench as a spectator now ....... poo!

Great day at Sandstone had a morning session started about 6:30 till 9 with Brad, John Pope, John ,Brent and myself. I went out on a 7 metre in Nice consistent wind. When out in the afternoon about 3 o'clock to 6 Pope John, John and Brent backed up as well as Jeff turned up for a afternoon session wind was a little more inconsistent. I went out on a 8.5. A good day and great company hope there's enough wind tomorrow.
