Wade, that just made me p1ss myself laughing. I'm so sorry that it was your misfortune, but I love the way you write.
I'm not gunna say it.

"But" - It wasn't quite like that mate. I was on 8.5 so that say's a lot.
Did some tuning on that sail properly for the first real time, and now have a proper starting point for the weed fin's.
The 52cm Tectonics Raptor was just amazing. It felt like I was just along for the ride, and I was doing hardly any work at all.
Anything I say will look like I just copied what the marketing says. The phrase that seems to be repeated the most is
"Controlled, level lift". It was really noticeable, and what stood out to me is the different noise under the board.
Earlier planing, and once up and going, it stayed going, and so many times I wondered how I was still going.
Pointing high as anything possible, and It was definitely faster for a fin that size. When gibing, the apparent wind was more than the actual wind, so had nothing in the sail till that crucial point of flipping it.
Mission accomplished.
Not as good for Cianna today. She stood on a sea-urchin. That was that. Thankfully Tony's family were there and she eventually played on the beach and soon forgot about it. Thanks guy's. Going to source some footwear.
Wade should have stayed. Oh crap! I said it!
