I had the best time today. Managed 52k's, so fitness is starting to come back and never went into the drink once.
Sailed with John(Pope) from about 10pm I think.
Died off for little bit, then picked up again as John was leaving. Had the place to myself for a while, and the whole day it was as flat as a sh1t carters hat, right up until Paddles and Adam got there and it blew a little bit more.
Poor Jeff wore all the "Sucked in text messages" today. Sorry Jeff.

Yes cedar dell. Awesome spot wello. Any wind direction and flat on lower tide. Best west side in northerlies. Careful on the low on the eastern side as shallow spots and a few rocks below in places. Stay between the beacons..Hard to get a park sometimes.. Vicky pt. Thomsons beach is great in high tide s.e. Pt O'Halloran in northerlies.

What's in those smoke's that make's him sail for so long?

Obviously a child of the 60's if you can remember you weren't really there (the acid flashbacks are a bummer too)

There is only one spot in our area sailable at low tides in SE and that's South Esplanade, I'd be thinking that's where everyone will be heading on Saturday.

A few hour's either side of the low is awesome. My favorite spot. Pope John will most likely be there.
Sometimes Mark pop's in for a sail too. Great flat water blasting, with a play in the waves out on the bank and across the passage on the way back in. Big long run's and shallow water. Suit you to a tee Wade. Big K's.
First right after the jetty and follow it all the way to the end (small car park).
If there's a little east in it, there's a little slog out to the wind line, but clean and constant as after that.
