That looks sweet. May be a little low volume to get back in it but nice ride for when you get the skills up.
Not proclaiming to be an expert but I think it all depends on previous skill and weight. I wouldn't say 149L is a low volume board unless you're a complete beginner or you're a very large individual. That seems a pretty typical volume for people getting back into it who had previous experience. I'm 82kgs and got back into windsurfing 2 years ago (after 20+ years) on a Starboard Carve 124L. My friend is just getting back into it now, same weight, on a 135L Fanatic Gecko. To give you an idea of our previous skills neither of us had experience with using harness or being in foot straps. I think all three of these boards (Magic Ride, Carve, Gecko) are also more stable than their volume suggests through the fact that they're quite wide.
I think that looks a nice setup and just in that sweet spot of where the gear isn't discouragingly difficult but also advanced enough to provide early thrills and keep you hooked and wanting more.
