Glad you folk on the west island are so glad to have us Kiwi's come visit and compete. The Germans and Pommy windsurfers whi competed in our NZ nationals were allowed to win the event but it was the highest placed kiwi who would get the National Title and trophy, worked well even though the Tourists were not a threat to the winner at any point...

They are calling four years before construction begins at Oakajee so keep gunning for the Aussie NAtionals 2010 in Gero.

We'll be calling it soon.

This sounds great. It would be good to have a Nationals that included the countries best sailors. I might have to think about entering the masters though. I look forward to hearing some concrete dates so I can plan some time off work. The Spot would be a great venue. It has been a long time (about 13 years) since I was last there, I hope the beach access has improved though. Back then it required some rally driving skills to get hire cars back up the hill and a friendly locals 4wd to actually get up to the break.

The 10th or 11th of jan till the 17th look like great dates. Staight after lancelin.As someone said you could get in 2 comps in 2 weeks. Would prob get a really good turnout too. Plus i have that week off.
