Well, I got a few after work at a spot I spent a lot of time at last summer. No banks this summer, pretty average. I got a couple of alright ones though.
I must live in some parallel universe. Because today apparently there was 0.8m of swell at Cott, but 3rds was miniscule. The point was ridiculously crowded. I got 0 good waves today, in fact 0 waves at all. I think maybe 3 waves in 90min. At least it was a nice morning for sitting around in nice warm water.
thanks to everyone this week and last week who didn't venture outside the capital for a paddle down further south. its been surreal to surf well used breaks for half the day with next to no one out. im now ready to face the next 2 weeks onslaught with a full grin and a hope it might happen again in the next decade.

Now that you have said that..................................Im not going!!
Good 2.5m swell today @ Rotto, 1m @ Cott on a 15 sec peak period. Hope that pushes some sand around as we need it!! It hit 3.0m early, Trigg Point looked great on the cams, tho I couldnt see how many crew were out.
