Welcome back smh - your thoughts have been missed! Hope your back is on the mend and you are prone paddling once more.
Mick - heavy stuff ! Thats a big paddle back in as well - plus you need to negotiate some reef on route. Ahhhh
What a day today. Had 3 surfs. Travelled a fair distance. Left home at 4:30am and just got back now. Ran into one seabreeze member out in the water (who incidentally gave me my best wave of the first session when it was his turn and he was in prime position - thanks). Surfed 3 completely diff spots and travelled a total of 503km. The round trip cost me $36 in fuel - I averaged 6.32km per 100km (for Simondo). Spent 7 hours in the water (if I had a GPS watch I could tell ya how many waves I caught

) and picked up some of my fav pork ribs from the Bulahdelah butcher on the way home. Also had a pie from the bakery next door. Today was the day when I wanted to put the Nano and its new fin setup to the test and am pretty stoked with the results. Its fair to say that the Nano is rapidly moving up the list of the best boards I have owned. Other highlights included listening to an amazing chat on the ABC with explorer Tim Jarvis about his Shackleton epic adventure. What a legend that fella is. Top day out and to top it off it seems I am a bit sunburnt. Left the hat behind today as it was pissing with rain when I set off and did not even think to grab it off the line. Whoops. Just opening beer number two - should be asleep by 8:30 with a big smile. Days like today rock. Hope you all got some good ones.
