Nice! What are the conditions? Wind speed? Size of Wing? Size of Foil? Rider Weight? Board Size.

Looks like Winging is more efficient that the windsurfer who was in the video.

Fun Up/Down winder yesterday. Unfortunately the forecast didn't come in as predicted. It actually got so light I came off foil and struggled to get back up at Newport Reef. But even so, a great fun DW'er back milking it for what I could.

Riding the Hover 110, Jet 1400HA/310HA/75cm and Wing-Surfer 5.3m.

Here's a quick minute of some of free-winging action.

Here's the track I did.

Today was too much fun, ins and outs at Fishermans beach. The bumps were amazing. The wind was actually very light and difficult to get onto the foil when I came off, but once you got onto the bump train it was irrelevant. Just surfing the whole way back down wind after each work upwind.

Wind NE 8-13kn.
Riding - Hover 110 with JET 1400HA/310HA/75cm and the Wingsurfer 5.3m

Here's a quick vid of what the glides were like, doesn't do it any justice though. FUN!!

A few sats too,

Here's a bit of an edit from today's Up/Dw Wind run. Unfortunately the wind kicked in after the tide turned, so the bumps were a little light on, so I left the wing up for the DW'er (plan was to paddle-Foil DW). But all in all, good fun for a gusty NorNor-Wester.

Here's a few stats also,

This was the upwind run from Station beach, Palm Beach to Flint and Steel.

And this is the DW leg from Flint and Steel round Barrenjoey to Palm beach ocean side.

Such a good run even when it's light with no tide. Amazing with wind and tide.

Enjoy,

ride safe,

JB

Great White North in November. North shore of Lake Ontario -- big winds, big swell and flat water between the swells -- near Picton, Ontario, Canada -- Just before it's too cold to do anything sane outside.

I'm not the crazy one in the video -- too old for that! However, I'm not far from this spot so next summer I may give it a try. Lake Ontario starts to warm up by mid July but with a steamer maybe at the end of June.

Here's a video of warmer waters and an eleven year old who puts me to shame (the Robbie Naish of winging?)!

Bobo's crossing is definitely worth casting to the big screen, it's beautifully filmed.

All good @Dejavu, just messing with ya!

I remember training on I-14's out of Ashbridges Bay SC in late May (full dry suits) and having to keep shake the spinnaker sheets so they wouldn't freeze, so my sanity is way gone!

I do miss my years in T.O and hope to be back one day

Another long one, sorry kids.

Had a fun run in Broken bay yesterday. The wind was light, but a heap of fun. Only did the one big run as I came off foil at the end and it was hard getting back up in the light wind, so opted to head back into Pittwater.

Riding a sample/proto foil 914cm2 on the 85cm mast with the 280HA rear wing all on the Hover 125 and Wing-Surfer 5.3m.

This is basically majority of the DW run. Some stats below for those interested.

enjoy,

My full journey from home, upwind to Barrenjoey, then out into Broken bay.

Just the DW fun glide (video).

Great video; looks like a super fun spot! I'm over on Vancouver Island where it's comparatively balmy. Which Armstrong setup where you riding? Looks like HS 1250? 85 mast?

Not me in the video (too cold for me). You are partially right -- 1250 Armstrong wing on the 100 cm. mast.

Looks good Hilly, like the drag and look around function very cool. What foil wings you on ? and does the 360 view make the waves look flatter smaller ?

Great , haven't had a chance to wing 1250 yet , but lovin it prone , pumps fast and easy and carves fantastic ,looking forward to DW on it when conditions improve.I was thinking the waves looked decent size on your video which made me think either they were huge ( some 360 cameras flatten everything) or the camera is giving a true perspective of their size ( 3-4 ft ? )

Here's another quick clip. A bit boring to watch, but it was a super fun run. First time I have made it up past Scotland island. The wind normally gets real funky and shifty, but this time on the larger foil and small Wing, it was easy to smoke all the way to Bayview.

My original plan was to free-wing back, but there was minimal bumps, not really enough, so instead I just B-Lined it home which turned out to be lots of fun.

This video is just the DW part. My stats are below showing the entire run and just the DW portion.

This is the full run.

And this is just the DW part.

Plenty of fun. Was riding the Naish Hover 125 and testing a new 2140HA Foil (2140/310/85) and the 3.6m Wing-Surfer.

An impressive average speed all up and DW really. Could of done with a little more wind, but good anyway.

Enjoy,

JB

Nice to see all the Smik presence !

Larry Foiler clearly looks fast on the Axis black series.
