My 2c: Chinook Alloy vs X6 hybrid

Out of the water stiffness and weight are the same, and if you close your eyes and swap them from one hand to the other you really cannot tell the difference. (This is not using scales or anything, just by feel). This was a bit disconcerting when I first got the X6 home.

However, rigged up there is a difference with swing weight, really very noticeable when I've got them almost completely extended on my largest sail.

The only time I've broken the Chinook was by bending the tail piece in the surf.
