Well that was a great afternoon at Sandstone, a constant 7m day is perfect there and if you manage to get it over a smaller tide then Sandstone becomes about as good as it gets. Shared the afternoon with Adam, Jeff, Max, Brad and Tony plus a couple of our kiter mates, an excellent start to spring

Another lovely arvo at Sandstone, the wind was a little up and down. Jase joined us from brizzy and Tony, Adam, Pope John and Denis were sailing so it was good to catch up with everyone. I first rigged a 7.5 and the Magic Ride and slogged/planed for a few runs as the wind dropped so I rigged and sailed the GO151 with a 9m sail for a while leaving the other stuff ready to go. Then I decided to de-rig the 7.5 and put the Magic Ride in the car, then the wind got up and was too much for the 9m sail so I de-rigged that and called it a day, then the wind returned to being perfect for the 9m sail and I swore a bit. Nice day though I see the Sandstone Seabreezers Mexican chapter (Mal and Pete) got a sail in at Viccy Point this arvo too, good to hear you boys got out of the house.

Any takers for the big breeze and rain tomorrow at the usual haunts? Supposed to be 25 plus. Has it been consistent anywhere today? Ready to roll.

Sailed with Pope John this morning till I pulled the foot strap insert out of my Magic Ride so it needs to go to sailboard hospital

Looks like I'll be using the big GO across the weekend and will be needing a knee reconstruction by next monday

Mr Keen, Trev and son and I made the trip north to Sandstone yesterday and joined the locals for a cold wet but windy days sailing. Tony took off across the bay on his new Wally and Brad cracked 31+. The rest of us tried hard but obviously weren't up to it..had a great day as usual, missed Darren- get more betterer sooner Darren! And Jeff and Max were absent. Hung around for the flat water but didn't do any good. Had a massive hi side when I missed the back foot, reminded me of the good old days...couldn't get comfortable on the 110, too big a sail and too small a fin for the chop.
everone left smiling so a good day had by all.

The mighty Magic Ride is fixed now, I've gotta recommend Peter Nitschke, he repaired it pretty quick and being at Landsborough it's not too far for me to go too.
