'just add water' disposable windsurfing kit. Just like Marvin the Martian and his instant martians.

No more de-rigging

DNA enhancments and mind/muscle memory programs that allow anyone to sail like Kauli the first time they hit the water and massive man made windsurfing parks (with perfect wind and waves all year round) dotting the globe.

Bring on the future!!!

we do have kevlar probably in one sheet covering only or am just mistakenmust be quite expensive..damn! i'd like to see all of this happen within my sailing lifetime get a taste of what my grandchildren would be using...before i always thought of a hinged board so it'd be easy to bring a half-sized board but at this pace where graphics are just changing and a snail's pace on materials and construction it seems i'll still be holding to an aluminum alloy year 2018the only sensible logical unusual thing that's sure to come back is what richiefish says 'above knee shorts' it's funny we had a threesome pic of me and 2 other mates in our 30's, 40's, 50's and funny to looke at decade shorts..i wish we could in that time just leave stuff out in the sun and not worry, so too if winds die down a bit--self adjusting fins, and as one put it volume adjusting boards..and for sails i can predict the time when cams came out the tuning for hi-winds was negative outhaul and positive for lite winds, i.e. going backwards, nah i hope notyep pweed looks like in any advancement so are the costs

in our regular sailing area 20mins. away there's a sand spit that's getting longer and longer every year and since freaky weather just about everywhere i hope to post some pics of really really flat water to all of you and since the place is called "bridge point" i hope by as early as year 2010 it'b just about the same as your speed pit s.p.remains to be seen..

I would be more than happy with lighter stronger and if possible cheaper.... other than that I am pretty happy with my gear!!!

In saying that if a board would repair it's self like one of those puncture proof tires when you hit a rock wavesailing at low tide that would be great....

Since the population is getting fatter ,maybe we'll see harness hooks that stay in the right place rather than slip under the gut ,that way we won't have to tippee toe to hook in........mmmmm I can still enjoy my M&M's

I would say in ten years from now we will all be talking about how sweet it used to be to be allowed to windsurf.. becasue the way we are going with laws banning us from doing anything.. the greenies and alike will have banned anyone going near the reef, and public liabilities make it illegal to sail anywhere!!

lets hope it doesnt turn into a (more of) a nanny state!!!

And also there will be no more kiting... Dont think the kiters got the memo.. need a guy AND a girl to reproduce... they are already scraping the bottom of the gene pool

i'd settle for the same kit but more accurate weather reporting - I think we'd all get more sailing done, and more non-sailing things done, if we could know that it was going to blow between 2:15pm and 5:20pm. No more waiting for wind!

We will be working/slaving in a factory owned by the Chinese government making windsurfers/kitesurfers for rich people to play with. Only the uber-rich will be enjoying windsurfing/kitesurfing as they will be the only ones that will be able to afford the excessive health insurance premium that will be applied if you engage in any potentially hazardous sport.

When bird flu , famine , wars and sea level rises due to climate change clean out 90 percent of the earths population. The few of us left will enjoy uncrowded new breaks and our choice of free kit from the many deserted windsurf shops....

There's a positive in everything
