Just thought I'd add this ...out of the room ..
I know every sail brand claims their sail are better this year than last years .?

Ezzy has improved with out a doubt .i have had a few Ezzysail s since 2003 .they were a power house wave sail ,,but overpowered to early . then 2007 se great sail but didn't.release the power on turns as good as the 2009 .panthers .thats when the big improvement s came .
i have cheetahs now ...2015 and 2016 ...the 2016 are a lot different with the one less batten .softer feel , flexy .
how does he do it? It s in the battens and shape .i still feel the lower cost sail such as the legacy would still have the performance .and a quality
product ....and still be a fully scrim sail for endurance .a ezzy low cost sail will be better than say a low cost Chinese made sail .no names ..

Back to the critique: A downhaul pulley is not more user friendly in a wave sail. It just isn't. It's not more convenient. It's slightly less convenient to thread. It's a little more expensive. It raises the foot of the sail from the deck if you don't take extra design measures to counter that. And that involves cutting a piece out of the tack leaving the foot untensioned so now you need a tack strap to compensate. It offers no real advantage...yes he said

I should also add that if you drive to the beach in a Porsche with your board and gear in the car then you should equally be entitled to have a pulley and tack strap on your wave sail. At least we are not talking about folding sails.

I take your answer sarcastic. My intend is you , like myself , being mear mortals , could pick apart the design of a obvious master.

one doesn't have to be a skinny girl to benefit from a pulley, once older with age releated effects, it makes rigging easier.

If you're that incapacitated maybe you should be doing something else.

Sometimes you just gotta laugh, smile and say cheese and go slurp up a skinny girl cocktail.
