Left home at 4:15am spent 6 plus hours in the water, did over 450kms and just got in the door. Great day out. Even ran into a seabreezer in the water. Wicked day of waves. If I had to complain it was just that I could not do this yesterday when it was a bit bigger. Hope you all got your fill. I am knackered and ready for bed Saw a young goofy foot girl get a very very long ride on her backhand today - she looked in shock as she did 5 nice top turns down the line. When she finally falls off she is just screaming with delight - and as it happens her dad was on the wave behind and when he flicked off he was just as stoked for her. She smiled all the way back out whilst screeching at "how sick that wave was." She got a couple of other good ones as well. I saw them in the carpark later on and she was the most stoked surfer I had come across in a very long time. It was great to see. Absolutely frothing.

Good stuff rhino. Six hours fmd. I surf a few four hours, only on small longboard days at that though. A six hour session would kill me in the waves your getting,or we have had. Maybe to three's, better would be three twos

How good was this morning on the Sunshine Coast.

The best beach breaks I have seen for a long stretch, every where from Yaroomba to Sunshine had waves from 2 to 4 foot and light off shore breezes.

Got a bit too quick for the old fella as the tide dropped off.

great morning up here.

ET.

I had that same bank I've been hitting up the last few weeks off it's farking trolley today. No pics from me but there was some twanger with a drone up there so the honeymoon may be over if that footage hits the web. Six hours of grinding pits. I am so, so sore

really. i got stuck at lm. started of alright then went to seed. a second surf at the alley which was pretty cool. crowded, but i hung just inside against the rocks and went for the 'growers'. the fun gun was good on those little wave starts before the wave grow. im rapt that board can ride well on pissy small waves- even got up near the nose and it worked

Hit the points early. No breezers around, and surf was that small it was not breaking at times. The local was better, but was expecting a big southerly. I made some.poor.choices today

nothing of note around these parts - just spent 90 mins exploring for no result. Lots of short period decent chunks in places but the wind is awful and the swell does not have enough power in it to get in to the sheltered spots. Looks like an afternoon in the garage for me or maybe I should drink some beer. Difficult decision.

Lovely session at Bells this arvo. Nice fun, solid lines coming through. Very low crowds... Rode the 9'0 Blue Gun - Bob's Hand-shape... Picked off the King Sets perfectly!

Patagonia Wettie Review - 9.5/10! - 3/2 Sealed Steamer, feels way more like a 3.5/2.5, or even like a 4/3... Not as stretchy at other brands, but just go +1 Size Up... Warmer than other brands though. The only fault I can find... THE TAG! For a Brand that kind of aligns themselves with "No Brand"... The TAG... it gets stuck in the zip, sometimes... I keep forgetting to cut the stupid thing off! But it didn't need to get placed in that location to start with! (Yes, PEDANTIC fault... almost not a fault!)...

I bought this one, last winter... 12-18 degree water range. Ideal for our Winters...
http://shop.patagonia.com.au/wetsuits/r2/ms-r2-bz-full-suit-10.html

I wear a Quiksilver Cypher 3/2 Steamer from 18-16 degrees. This from 15-12...

Had nice hour to myself at a local spot just down the road from Bells was wondering where everyone was...then a mate paddles out at proceeds to tell me that he can't believe I'm out by myself at dawn after whats been happening the last few days..apparently the crew got chased out by a 5-6 footer on Friday and a couple of guys got bumped at winki a few days before that with one ending up with a few bite marks in his calf for good measure....anyways I got a few good ones and keeps the crowd down so happy days

Nah bro...I was down at 13th so there were a few crew spread out to keep the percentages down...you would of loved it bro lovely split peak that you could go either way give it a couple of nice whacks on the outside before it hit a fat section which you had to work a bit before it hit the inside and started to race once it got there it was a choose your own adventure big floats or give the whack
