I thought the same and had to check the live wind chart.

It is bleak here. Rain and strong easterly winds.

You're not alone - I haven't relied on any forecasts for a while now they've been so unreliable ... just driven down the beach prepared to go in

Best I've seen in a few weeks up here around Coffs. Yesterday wasn't too bad either.

I was out this weekend with a dodgy calf problem. but managed to surfs on a 14 ft 666 race board. worked out about 2 clean up sets and me getting smashed per wave. but cracking rides right down to the towers from wide alley.

got to thank mac for filling in some gaps this weekend.

Had some fun uncrowded waves the last few days. Caught the last remnent of swell at the local beachie today, even a few micro barrels for a change

Got the tail end of the swell solo run as well, up you know where this arvo. Of course there was a 5.3 attached to the 7'6" Quad.

Would of been smok'n at your home away from home mate, before & after the wind change....this windsurfing summer kook will probably dust off his gear this coming week

Glad I got yesterday in. Went for a stretch sail today. Tom Carroll surf Toy calling knee high.

LOL epic, I love those remote control surfer things. Better swell than expected over the weekend. Could of surfed in the mornings coz work shifts were in the arvo. But decided to take it easy. Got smashed in the leg last Tuesday & its taking a while to heal. Funny thing I can surf ok, but limp a little when out of the water. The next week is looking nice

After a brief consultation with certain members of the local crew & presenting a middle finger to the faagott Huey along with his 30 knot gusting windbag mate from the evil sodom North .... it was decided to call a layday in preparation for a Southerly change that is on it's way up

Getting a thunder storm now. Supposedly hail etc on the way.

Good day for us here despite a stiff wind .... 2 surfs in by 9.30am , a good dawn at a Point & then a cracker beachie with Lance .... Lance landed a couple of sweeeeet lefts , the man was on fire (swear his wettie had a large frontal tent formation when he finally got out

)

Pup, don't buy cryovac meat.... they inject it with water to increase the weight and try to tenderise it. Unless of course you bought if from a reputable butcher who wouldn't dare do such a thing.

Looking like it's going to have a nice clean wave at the local this arvo OB. Not quite a board snapper, but it looks like it's going to be alright.
