In my old home town and thereabouts for ten days. Surfed my childhood local two days ago with a gutless swell an poor banks. It was horrible. Surfed a sucky 2-3 foot reef yesterday which was good fun. Hitting a few other reefs over the next few days which should be pretty good. Biggest crowd so far? Two other people.

SDR & a mate of mine surfed my local this morning & he introduced me to SDR who's a good bloke. Unfortunately the surf was not so good

Been up the bush for a few days but south swell here and nor west wind tomorrow so looking good. Will have to surf in boardies. Still dont have a wettie

...Willy's been wrong just about all week with his wind predictions, unfortunately not for the better until today. Devil wind in the morning swung round to the best direction at 9. My usual spots were poop, so popped down the road a bit to a reef I hadn't surfed in 4 or 5 years. Sand must be in all the right nooks & crannies & the swell & tides must have been in alignment coz it was heaps fun. Even got a little grab rail barrel on a set wave. Stoked to have a couple of extra local spots working at the moment

Went out this morning and got myself a new steamer. It's a Vissla. Never heard of these before but its nice soft rubber, taped with a nice warm lining and batwing and it was 280. Went out into clean offshore waist to shoulder high peaks. Very nice but a little crowded. Water still pretty nice in.

Its figging cold here are the moment I am looking at a 3/2 with the furry stuff normally use a 4/3 ripcurl

Smaller and bumpier today with weekend flappers. Still got a few ok waves on the 11 footer. Happy with my new wettie.

another perfect day...swell chest to head hi on the sets .nice work out paddling up the coast in clear water ....got 2 closeouts ..
