Good size swell today after a blowy Sunday. Didn't rush down, kinda expected a large crowd, hungover ocean & although light. Little bit of devil wind early...soz got down at 10 to a chockers carpark just as a lot of unfamiliar faces were heading in & within an hour of getting out there I was only surfing with 4 people. Sat out the back waiting for the sets on the Germ wishing I had a bit more length & although it had apparently cleaned up a lot. It was still pretty unsettled making sets peak all over the shop. Had a fair few waves in 3 hours but only 4 that were really good down the line nice walls. Others were shutting down through the middle or had no wall other than the first peak...expecting it to drop about 1/2 size tomorrow, but should be a lot cleaner & fun on the longboard. Will be my last waves for 3 weeks till I get back from Japan so gonna make the most of it...boys & girls will probably score great waves through April by the looks. Turning out to be a great year
