The founding board member should have gone a few years back really. Carty might be a nice bloke but its a results driven business. He has had lots of injuries the last few years sadly.

I thought he went after the so called Centre of Excellence (or lack there of)

Manly haven't had anyone suspended for squirrel grips either!!!!!!!! (and before anyone mentions Hoppa - he was playing for Tigers)

Glad I put $20 on Manly to win the comp before the season started, got them at $9.

Yeah, playing talent isnt the issue we seem to produce some good talent you look at the great group in 05, we got a bit lucky in the winning the GF but the front office couldn't keep lots of the blokes, most of who wer youngish at the time, look at how many went Cronulla etc. we should have built from it, not looked at it as the pinnacle and job done. It seems like the most stable thing in the whole place is the footy team, the board is a mess of conflicted and sometimes self interests.
I reckon one of the first signs of trouble with the biard was Steve Noice leaving, maybe cash but I'd say he just found it hard to work in that environment.


I'd say this year we have definitely over achieved and even though I wanted Potter out early, I don't think you can sack him ATM, he has taken a team that was tipped to be in the bottom few and has them just outside the 8 and developing nicely. Any fan that isn't happy with the year we had is probably kidding themselves.

But will be interesting to see what happens, I'd say it's getting worse before it will get better.
