was trying to find out how long this board is taking by going through old threads, the history wont let me do it,it is so old so when is the due date off this forgotten pregnancy mac? when will this new family member arrive? [}:)]

This was started on the 17/02/12 so eight weeks, how long do they normally take?

Correct doggie eight weeks tomorrow, they normally do my boards in four.

All good.

Oh Chrispy,this week mate

Nice Mac.
Doggie, I think I was quoted 8-10 weeks, due to the tints. I think they are quicker without tints... So that would indicate that the tinted boards all go through the God of Tinting... Bill McLean. It sounded like a sprayed board can be done more quickly, and doesn't need Bill's skills.

I would be interested to see how he does tints like that, bit of time involved I would think.

Do a youtube search Doggie, that will show you... Basically for Mac's board, he would have mixed 2 batches or resin... 1 milk, and 1 green. And yes, just need to take your time on each side...

Mines an easy tint compared to some I've seen.

Here's a harder tint, on video...

Mac's the trick with your tint is that it wraps around both sides... Not too hard though.

I'm tipping that this board will end up with a single colour deck inlay and pin lines on top... Not duplicating that tint work on the top...
