yeah Ted...you know him?...nice bloke...worried about the nick name though...they call him fluffy

Yeah he is a good friend of a buddy of mine - he told me he was in Bondi - I must drop in and say hello to him next time I am down that way. I stayed at his place that my mate shared with him in Taranaki a few times many years ago. He used to take us to some amazing waves down that way. He used to surf really good back in those days so one would imagine he has only improved.....

As I've said before Mac, they are all a 1 off, in term of tints and logos, and dimensions, all just being a little bit different!

Even my up coming 9'6 is a semi copy.... I like the G2 Guns, I like the modern "dip tints", I like the milk tints, and I've always liked the Blue Tints. I've been considering a 9'6 G2 Gun for a while now... When I saw that board above (blue & white board on page 4), with all that in mind... I had to place an order!

First time I have ever copied a boardbut like I said I hate green as a colour and this thing blow me away

Ben from McT said, truly an awesome looking board and I'm not just saying that, the colours with the triple stringer ( nice Touch ) and the three board mix looks like a real all rounder

SP, I never take offence to anything posted in here because everyone is cool unlike you know the room

I wonder if round 2 will be on tonight ding ding
I can't keep contacting them otherwise they will think I'm so kind of nutter ( which is true ) haha

Chrispy,I know this is the longest wait I've ever had for a board and that the Spoon project has slowed mine down but it gave me time to make a call on which board gets the flick.

The board looks nice Mac but what's more important is how she rides. The three board mix will hopefully turn out to be a winner . That lower entry rocker should get it trimming nicely and probably noticeably quicker than the other fireballs you've had.
You will know soon enough. Hopefully you will get the waves to have a good go on it.

I agree mate,a little like Lacey always looking for something new.
I've really struggled on the BIG single but have have some good
sessions on it,however not as good as the one I sold Asea,I really
think this is the one for the hide tide small days.

Don't come in hear and start **** ... Na classic.

Mac, same goes for anything I write, I don't get offended easily and not by the Interweb.. If you'd said my tak was ****, I'd be offended but I honestly didnt even think of it before I posted then it came to me later that you copied the color and I thought it was even better..

But as Simondo said all hand shaped ones are different anyway, that's why pop outs suck, no magic..

There's a problem with my current McTavish 8'6... Paddles in really well, handles late drops, you can draw out lovely bottom turns, and also jamb in tight turns... But it gathers so much speed, that I struggle to slow it down sometimes! Struggle to bring it back into the pocket... But I have a system... A big long round house washes off the speed... if required, stand on the tail a bit more... then you get it stalled, and back in the foam ball pocket... then a moment later your high in the pocket and setting up your line for the 5th bottom turn on the wave... What a problem hey!? I love Bells !

You cant rush these things legend has it that the green used for that tint was handscraped off a specific species of frog by Bob himself high in the Balinese Rainforests of Ubud and was smuggled back into the country in a boogie board it is truly a one of a kind
