Ask the boy to help out with the dishes 3 times.
If he (management) refuses to help out, then go out on strike put a total black ban on the kitchen until conditions improve and the safety of the work environment due to the unsafe build up of dishes has been improved.
After a week of strike action, the Dishwasher which you had already ordered should then be installed
and ready for action
If you ask, you have a 50/50 chance of a knock back.
Make a decision and go out and get one
