I thought Iwould share my fist attemt at shaping and glassing a board. I stareted by looking up racing yacht and making a top and side templates. Ordered 1 big block of foam cut it in half and epoxied in the stringer. Then I started shapng covering my shed in foam, not as much fun as I fist thought. Ordered some 4oz carbon from USA (took about a month to get). After sealing the board I stuck the carbon on, then two 6oz glass top and bottom. Then a quick sand and onto the hot coat. Turned the shed white again with the sand. Couldnt wait so went for a quick paddle, totally wraped so much quicker than a smaller board. Now fo the question should I paint and if so what type of paint should I use.

The board is 14 foot long by 30.5" wide as I am a larger person
