Worst by far was a De Vries 5.7 wave sail I had in mid-late '80s which looked colourful but sailed poorly. Got rid of it and the Ten Cate Leaper board with a boom, mast, base etc to a bloke for $200. I made a loss on the deal but was glad to get rid of it; he thought he got a bargain.

Based on replies to worst sail experience, looks like DeVries sails definitely got the biggest thumbs down followed by certain NP and Gaastra sails!

Best wave sail - Hot Sails Maui Super Freak Maui Edition 5.3.
Worst wave sail - 2008 Ezzy Wave SE 5.2 - felt stiff like it had camber inducers.
2nd worst wave sail - 2007 Maui Sails Global 6.2 with an Ezzy mast
2nd best wave sail - 2007 Maui Sails Global 6.2 with a Maui Sails mast

Best slalom sail - Maui Sails TR5 7.6 - light in the hands, powerful and faaaaaaast.
Worst slalom sail - 2007 Ezzy Infinity 7.5 - heavy and slow. On the plus side it should last 100 years.

Maybe it was the size, when was the last time you used a 3.2?????.

Faves are NP RAF wave 5.5 from 86 I think.
Gaastra Grind 6.2 wave in 2000 from when Barry Spanier went to Gaastra.
NP Evo III 7.8, just plain awesome.

Worst, TR1 bastard of a sail to rig with crap monofilm.
went OK when finally rigged though.
