Friday nights we have our regular beers at QBN. Typically it brings another 5 knots.

Started the afternoon at sandstone hiding in car. Rainy wind gusting 20-22knts. Peak 30knts in the squalls

we all got brave or mad and headed out on small gear that was correct 25% of the time. Few of us did some standing around waiting for the squalls to pass. Changing up and down sail and board size

good turnout. Shannon dropped in again ( almost a regular).

I had an awesome time on 120 hawk - first real success with the board - must admit with the overpowered conditions I did a bit of water starting with the rear foot in so that I could get going safely

We sure got our fill of great sailing conditions this week. All of my joints are saying wtf. Just as well the wind is dropping off for a few days to recover.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys l felt at home straight away,sorry l couldn't stop for a beer but had to get food for the house. Had a reasonable session on thursday as well. Any foilers in the area?

Soon as I got on the plane I had a smile from ear to ear.
The new board fantastic, but more wind than I was expecting, so no foil.
Think I better work on fitness for a while before i give that a try though.
Probably better to have a bit more available in the tank for that one.

NE at Sandstone is probably not the safest considering where you would end up if you got into trouble but it's such a great ride out towards the island on relatively flat water. The turbo boost in the middle on the way across was great.

Mate, there's a bit more gut to get rid of.
And there's been no hair there for many years.
Lee, haven't seen you for year's and year's mate. Life obviously takes you in and out of this addiction as much as me the last God knows how many year's.
Have to keep coming back. We're all drawn to it forever.
Hate the times living without it.
