Its early days but Saturday is starting to look good. Of course the arrows can change between now and then but hopefully the winds will get stronger and stronger.

I'm off down the coast this weekend with my board. There's still 4 more sleeps for the green arrows to turn red though.

Sad, but true.

I don't know what I'm going to do.
There is just too much wind predicted in Sydney this week.
I won't be able to get any SUP done.
Looks like I'll just have to windsurf instead.

Actually it looks like the most wind predicted for Sydney this year (and yes I look every week). Usually I'm skeptical, but it looks like the wind has already started.

Botany bay after rain?! I've stopped going there now after getting ill every time! A mate had 3 parasitic virusus from one trip in the spring - the doctor said he'd never seen all 3 in one person!!! One of them only really comes from human excrement which is a bit grim.

Although I won't be sailing in open water any time soon, I agree with Crash Landing as a few months ago I picked up a fairly nasty foot infection after lots of rain at Rodd Point. I couldn't walk properly, needed an Ultrasound and two courses of antibiotics.

If you go to the western side Towara Point (south-east of Emmaline St) have a good sniff and check out the kind of weed that grows there. I don't know exactly what is going into the water around there or what it is, but I wouldn't want to be drinking it accidently or cutting my foot. Also if you do go over to see, it is really shallow around there.

Mumble mumble grump grump! wind going, to busy at work and shed loads of rain. Oh well good for the dam levels and finishing the house!

I guess Pittwater and Broken Bay would be as good as anywhere as they both have bushland around much of their shores.

i might join you for a sail at sandy point tomorrow - what time are you heading there?

Timford - I don't know much but. if you round up, you have to put the mast forward in the track to counter, but if it was all the way forward, then you prob had too much sail up, as the centre of effort was still way too far back

Thank you chaps. I was well sheeted in and rounding up but track was a touch further back than normal (rushing to get ready).

I am going to head down to Botany later this morn (9.15 update first) with the wife to have a another go and hope the NE lifts a little and then cross all members for next weekend.
