I forked out for a new camera to get some better pictures for the site - its got a 30x zoom. Not the best pics compared to a few grands worth of DSLR, but not bad.

The latest article was just us playing around at the weekend on the harbour, for those of you wondering what its like where the Portland Pirates sail usually you can see a bit from the pics. I will do a detailed spot guide for it soon.

I have also tried to organise things a bit more so there is a very basic menu at the top, for some reason I cannot get a drop down menu to work correctly but will keep trying.

Also the logo is changed and I am quite pleased with the alteration now. I tried to get a windsurfer with a camper van (in red obviously) in the same pic but they just didnt look good, I think this one looks good. The reason I chose that pic is its a great memory for me when I was recovering from my heart attack, watching the sun set over the atlantic with my fiancee. Hope you enjoy the latest stuff.

I will do a mid month round up soon, if only to gloat that the Portland Pirates are top of the leaderboard (nothing at all to do with me I hasten to add!)

I contacted him after seeing a few of his creations on facebook. Being a mathematician I really liked his links into nature, using inspiration from the wings of insects. Also having a soft spot for the non-corporate world I wanted to first contact the smaller companies that are producing speed sails. Hope you enjoy it.

And there is a bit about my 1000nautical miles that got into the local paper again, the second article down.

In the next few days I have one per day lined up to publish while I am away, keep checking back. :-D

Thank you. Going away for a mini break in the bus and to pick up some freerace kit to do a big review on. Have to admit that if I wasn't on sick leave I wouldn't have been able to do so much to the website.

Well nice to see IRL250 back on the speedsailing front could expect some good times now he has full sponsership from a different board manufacturer god nows what difference that will make? Are we going to see him going into Slalom????

As for the ashes i may not be sailing till November, ankle not good apperantly?
But what do Doctors know? Looking forward to a rematch that will be dominent by the southern hemisphere this time round but who cares bring it on........

I have been driving seemingly none stop the past two days and have a nice van full of goodies ready to start some real reviews on. Not the stuff that you read about in the mags, boards and sails used by real down to earth unsponsored sailors over a period of time (weeks-months not hours). And my first impressions are they look lovely......


And for some reason they and me seem to make my van look tiny in this pic!

I posted this in the review section, but thought it best to post here as well as some of you may never venture that far

We have started the review process on the Exocet kit now. I will post probably 5 or 6 different reviews as our opinions develop. I want to offer something different in terms of reviewing. Ordinary frequent riders with a mix of ability testing the kit, on its own and against their own that they are used to.....
Hopefully it will give a different perspective on the review process, one that I think is missing.
