It was the training that Mr. Spot put in at the Inverloch Speed Invitational that got him over the line Well done Craig from all at IWC

Nice work Spotty. You smashed it the other day. Was great to see you fully lit and powered on a 5.0m. That wind was solid and dense most of the day, and its good to see the higher low tide actually makes a bigger window for sailing without the tidal currents being so brutal. Still a smashing mission through the channel... Hoping we get days like that more regularly!

Thanks all... I made it by this much

My second fastest session, and the conditions were quite good and hence the 47.12 5x10, pretty sure if the wind had increased a little and held, my 47.76 PB may of tumbled as well. My 5 best 500m runs were all over 45, compared to 44 on Big Sunday Sept 2009, just goes to show how the numbers change in differant ways depending on the conditions.

Thanks Slowie for your great description, 'I watched him down the run and he looked so steady and so powered up I thought the sail was going to explode, MI style.' Yeah sail felt really sweet on a couple of runs where I felt I could sit back in my new harness a bit more and shift some weight to the rear to get the whole setup almost just balancing on the fin/tail for a good length of time.

Days like this keep you wanting more of the same knowing its possible to go faster. I don't think theres any pics from the day to share, unfortunately Tom C couldnt make it to take some due to many fallen tree's close to home.

The quest continues...

Congrats Spotty. It was a nice surprise to see the gp3s ranking leader get the WGPSSRC World Record after coming back from a holiday.
