yes Juice is correct, i repair boards on the east coast, never seen one ripped out of a epoxy board, seen them snapped in half, i replaced two last summer, but the jez's knob is bolted into the track, so at worst it would crack the box. i have seen a bombora 285 or what ever they where with a track ripped completely out, but it was in a 40 knot squall that caught out some guy out, his gear was on the beach, it had a 7m sail on it, i think it was when it hit the power lines at the top of the pole 50 metres away that did it, that was a bit funny... we just bolted another one in.. he had a good laugh about it the next day..

I used to use Jez's nob until I managed to snap the nose clean off my board, i dont bother with it any more.
