...Problem is the 90cm and 70 cm foil masts and the 2 complete foils.

Soft gun bags (say 36-47"/90-120cm) or gun socks for the foil masts. You can find gun socks for under $10 and padded gun bags for $30 or less. Gun bag can also hold a few fins. For complete foil, check Sailworks or your foil brand.

I tried naish foil bag for a bit, pity they dont make a half length one for fins/extensions etc.

Gestalt why denim? How many fins you putting in it? & if you track down a stitching awl much easier for punching through heavier fabrics & many layers.

^ Seem to remember a pic of your fin rack from a few yrs back. Impressive well invested arsenal. But wait, there's MORE???

& nah dont think I added much more, just a new set of wave fins. I was going to order a set of s1 pros but the price is bad on them now & can't justify it. I might get some tribal spweeds to try sometime so rack expansion needed

I have the MFC fin bag, does what it says on the label.

The mfc bags look good, a bit more expensive but should last a long time with the nylon zips & material. The wave fin one should be perfect for you Gestalt.

If you are still making your own maybe checkout the surfboard ones for ideas, a bigger version of something like fcs bag would be good.

Well it'll do if you store fins in boards.

I have a board rack too... the fin rack is nothing compared to that

The real winner is the one that gets used the most.
As my wife said as I was building this , " just shove the fins in a box and go sailing ya p..f ".

3 separate bags, 1 for Tuttle, 1 for deep tuttle and 1 for power box. Sux when you take a PB board and grab the tuttle fins by mistake.

Hey Gestalt, With plenty of time on my hands being a fifo worker and being limited to what and where I can go, due to the present circumstances, I needed to re-evaluate my space and came up with this. Over-engineered, yep, but did I enjoy messing around with woodwork, yep.
I actually enjoy re-using timber to create the most available space I can utilise. I think this is the 5th re-incarnation of the original rack
Btw, just need some shielded 4 core wire and the cnc will be up and running

It's fairly new. I need it to remove the g11 dust from the fins on the cnc. Not nice stuff.
But it's got removable bags. Good stuff, until you drop one one the ground and a plume of dust follows.

Boat oar mounting brackets.
There are all different sizes , 44mm for SDM
At boat shops , Mitre 10 has them , EBAY , 4 pac $15 delivered.
I used a 20 mm spacer under the right side clamps so i can clip the ext with the bases on.

I got mine at Supercheap Auto.
Bunnings also sell them.
They are not cheap but neither are fins.
The one I have is 85 cm long because I use long fins up to 60 cm.
There is a smaller one around 60 cm for more normal sized fins .
Because of the stepped shape of the sides , the inside size is a lot smaller than the outside size .
Take your biggest fin when shopping .
