I could handle the wind just fine (5.7) and bloke called Michel V set a new world windurfing best ( max average speed for sailing 1 hour ) out of Wello - good on ya mick.
The storm was a monster and I bugged out just before it got nasty.!
Maybe you should consider trading camps in these winds???
