Mark your explaination over states your skills and experience?

Especially at locations AROUND GERALDTON AND NORTH.

Obviously when u sail out u must intend on deliberity HOLDING YOUR LINE TO CREATE A COLLISION OR PISS SOME ONE OFF.

I have never stated one should not make basic ajustments to head down or up wind whilst sailing out .

But again if u have actually done any REAL wave sailing IN REAL waves, over 80% of the time you are not planning, and should hold your line GOING OUT and watch the other wave sailor carving it up of the bottom and putting a mountain of water over you as he snaps of the top.

As for your collision i would suggest your reaction time and decission making process was left way to late, creating a dangerous scenario,
Were you riding a GO board ?

ALSO If you take off to late as u have done [UV MISS READ THE WAVE ]and not taken consideration of someone on the inside and or plodding out.
Well got news for u , sometimes people get caught out. IE by a wide set.
and ,yes
The wave rider has to straighten out. THIS DOES PISS U OFF.

NOTE One must ask THE question of the person getting worked and or plodding around on the inside struggling to get out. WHAT THE HELL ARE U DOING THERE ANYWAY. Face it, no one wants to be smashed on the inside.

Tips
Work on increasing your reaction time BRO including your trigger finger
OVER IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MArk & King, you guys both need to come & sail at Metthams as it will suit both your points of view - no one seems to have a clue down there whether to give way or to cut off so i't usually one big sh#t fight....!

My 2c worth - the number one rule is to avoid a collision at all costs - even if you're about to launch off the greatest wave of your life, on the way in or out.

The other rules only come into effect when the 2 sailors concerned have:
1. noticed each other and 2. have time to react.

If you notice another sailor and you know they haven't noticed you, you have to avoid a collision, there's no point injuring another guy and/or yourself just to prove you know the rulebook on wavesailing better than them.

I sail at Corro's all the time and although I've never met the King (I'm fairly new to town), I agree with his rules - I guess this would explain why we've never run into each other.

Expecting a good sail this afternoon, hopefully no collisions............

Nope I've sailed them plenty.

I guess Esperance doesn't count as real wavesailing.
Isn't Corro's just big B&J really?

And yeah I'm over this thread too so I'm out.
