Xmas present idea?

waterproof drone which floats and has submersible camera plus can fly in 33knots, also takes underwater shots and has a flip function if it lands upside down in the water

What about bombs. Can it drop bombs?

Well yes. There is a fishing version with a release to drop baits out behind the breakers. Shouldn't be an issue to hook up a tank mine.

Here is my "tip of the day", always bring a thermos with hot water, in order to enable de-rigging at this time of the year (in the northern hemisphere) :

The monofilm seems to do fine, it makes a little more noise perhaps but I have not broken anything yet. I have had problems with some other plastic parts though. Like the front end of the batten pockets in the Severne code red sails. This plastic would break very easily in winter time.

NO! Just NO!

That is just not in any part of my 'having fun' script.

You are either the most fanatical windsurfing enthusiast in the world, or there is absolutely no other options for entertainment available.

In the middle of attempting a fully foiling tack on Saturday, my mast extension disconnected from the base while I was in the air, then came back down and punched a hole in the deck of my foil race board. Luckily Subsonic was kind enough to spend Sunday fixing it for me like the legend he is. Just needs to be sanded and painted now.

Air temps 7c here today and I was complaining... Okay, I'm still complaining but I was complaining earlier, too. (Apologies to Mitch Hedberg)

Can somebody please post a build , fix , mod, or failure. Even a story of trashed gear , (pics).
Not a lot going on here.
There used to be funny pics \ jokes.
Its a sad day when we don't even bother hanging it on kiters. Remember when people used do draw spotted shorts on kiters ? Those were the days.
Have we all turned sad and taken up wingdinging?
Next we wear spandex and ride bicycles in colours that make us look like we're sponsored.

Those were the days, hanging **** on kiters.

We had shorts made for the end of year windsurfing ball, they had the hide to combine our night with kiters.
Only happened once, we showed them

Mmmmm grabbing the frank and beans for the camera doesn't look so funny now

Specially not being cheek to cheek with old mate

you could always say, "you got bored, there was no wind, one thing led to another"
I'm sure we'd all understand

Not only Queenslanders. I never wear a wetsuit, but I did at Sandy Point. Maybe they become acclimatised to it and forget what its like for normal people?

I don't know about normal, but I can't remember the last time I sailed without a wetsuit on. Perhaps once in the summer of 1997...

Some times in our shallow brown estuary the water gets too hot for just boardshorts.

When I was a teenager living in Newcastle I surfed all year in just board shorts. I can still remember the day I bought a long sleeve Rip Curl 2mm vest - luxury. Now at 66 living in Brisbane, I wear a 3 : 2 steamer in winter, 2mm spring suit in spring and autumn and boardies only in summer. Must be getting soft.

How about 4 beers then sailing at Sandy Point ? Tipsy windsurfing. It wasn't my fault. They made me do it. I wouldn't suggest it in open waters.

Rule for windsurfing - don't leave unless you got 3 in the esky for after or before sailing

Windsurfing Hung Over - big night on the rum - sailing about 1 km from starting point then the gut rumbles - in your mind you know the minimum outcome is a shart. Happen to a friend of mine
