The latest compilation is of previous whitsunday marathons.
I am planning to do a whitsunday trip this winter, but without support and just between the local islands.
I suspect with the shark activity lately I will have it all to myself.
Anyway enjoy 3 articles in order of time of past whitsunday marathons.

Great posts Heavy1. Excellent reproductions. It makes me yearn for those days when magazines were the king of media.

I was a participant in the Mackay to Airlie marathon in the article. It was a great event and agree the leg from Brampton to Goldsmith is really up there in the best days windsurfing stakes.

Some people have commented that
"the writing is too small"
Options 1) if using a touch screen just zoom in. The resolution will allow easy reading.
option 2) right click on the photo and copy, then past it or save it into something like word or image software you can zoom into.

Sorry but it takes to much space to post all the writing in large print.
There is plenty of resolution, you just need to be able to zoom.

ctrl + "the plus key" on most desktop browsers. Or right click and choose open image in new tab/window.

I'm surprised that anyone's liver survived the race.

The liver has amazing recoopertative powers when you are 30. We averaged 3 to 4 hours sleep per night for the week. We drove back to Newcastle from Airlie, sharing the driving, in 22 hours, the day after the event. I miss being young and stupid.

Do you have any of the old comic strips of 'Powerhead" and "Pinhead" out of the Freesail mags? I used to love those!
