Or just to complicate things even more ,
Have a sail with a big loose leech with a lot of twist , ( like a speed slalom sail ) , and somehow tighten the leech with a chord tension , ( like a lower wind tight leech race sail ) . The chord then runs down to the boom out-haul end then along the boom to your hand to adjust . It would be like blending a high and low wind leech .
Imax I have had a sail before, a looong time again that had a cord in the leach that could be tightened and tied off on a button.
Maybe it was my Bombora 6.2 fully cammed sail, or could have been a very old 7.0 Neil pryde warp race sail?
