I've been seeing a physio plus chiro. I thought that could gave been a bit over the top but it's working well.
The physio is mainly range of movement, strength and some massaging to get the fascia moving again ( the whole wrist/ arm was like cement ).
The chiro worked on getting the whole body working ok again. E.g due to the heavy cast and the way I did early rehab my shoulder and neck were involved when I moved my hand. After his exercises I can now isolate the hand.
I handled the sailing ok on the day .It was sore the next day but stated to settle. I got over motivated to get it back to normal and build up strength. I started doing heaps of ball work plus weeded for 30 mins solid.

Now I know why they only had me doing a bit at a time..
Oh well lesson learnt. I'll take it easier and back off if it gets inflamed too badly.
