I've got an old style gath hat which had the visor. One day surfing scarborough the visor caught onto the underside of the lip while I was racing along a section. This nearly pulled my f*cking head off. I threw the visor away and still use the helmet sailing. There good to hold your sunnies on and keeps the sun off.
