So what do we have? - 69 entries. A significant number to most of us.
No controversy here so I will woos out and go by the thumbs. After all, the revenue from the bribes has been most disappointing...

Most entries came from, who else, that prolific source of amusement Richiefish, gag writer to the stars with 12 entries. That's about half a page Richie. Maybe its time to start your own column.

Sfalck made the early running with an (almost) on topic gag about tie downs. Mark scored equally with his reserved and understated comment.
The lead then fell to Sausage with his airport security gag (chuckle).
Richie then sprang to the lead with a particularly apt comment about a fellow poster. I'm sure we all felt a little frisson of understanding with that one.
Then a surprise from left field - a little pre seasonal humour from Grumps and a real contender according to the thumbs.
hmmm.... just recounting here.

I must say I'm a little disappointed that some good comments failed to draw the votes. My personal favourite was Rellie's can't find the clitoris gag. Has anyone EVER found one?

Not to dispute your decision, (well done Grumpy) but you can't tell anything by the votes, cos people use the red thumb option to delete other people's green!

For example, my "before kitesurfing" got a couple of greens to start, then went deep into the red (hmm, I wonder who red-thumbed it? Not kiters, surely?), and last time I looked it had zero, which means a few more people had voted for it..

Better to judge for yourself, the votes are not even any use as a guide.

Well a vote is a vote whether it's positive or negative. I hesitate to be the judge because I have my own particular biases and I think the democratic way is farer and better for the comp. If I was the sole arbiter the comp would descend into utter prurience and Lozza would zap it.

Willy I dare say your kite surfing comment got red thumbed because it was just a cheap shot - not unreasonable imho.

It would be nice if we could scare up some more contributors. Is this a dying sport or an arty niche activity? Where have I heard that before?
