I would have thought most windsurfers would be very friendly as lonely old men are probably be keen to bond with other lonely old men. As for expert windsurfing advice, there is none, just people who have been doing it for a long while and are still confused about it.
So why are our women and junior windsurfers as friendly as the old guys??
The average age of sailors in Windsurfer One Design regattas in NSW is about 32 years.......younger than the kiters I see around. Oh, and 2/3rds of them sail with someone from their family as well as with their friends.....fertile lot, those windsurfers.
And anyway, what is wrong with a sport that's so great that people do it 'till their old and grey?
