My experience is that Slingshot foils and boards are incredibly durable - 300+ sessions in the ocean without any major issues.
Rode a waist-high wave today too close to the reef, suddenly the water was about a foot deep and I hit the limestone at about 18 knots, catapulting a couple of meters.
Thought I'd lost the foil for sure but just a small gouge on the front edge of the 76 wing (that will sand out) and a couple of loose bolts.
Tuttle box on the Wizard 105 and rest of the foil all ok

Changed to the 65 wing and went out for another blast
