Hey bertie,
finish coat and sanded yesterday afternoon.
got it in the water this morning, a little concerned on how it was going to go, just over thinking it I guess.
in the end worked really good, still need to "feel it out" a bit more but defiantly a fun little board.
foams balanced, got the buoyancy right, and the fins feel set right as well.(webber twin+trailer on forehand /5's + modified 3 on backhand)
the initial thought process was that I really enjoyed the feel of the side cut ( peanut alaia side) boards but wanted more bite in turns. The tails on the original side cuts are really wide and you have to either pussy pivot or take it way on the shoulder to do a cut back. Hence the normal groveller outline on the other side.
really liking the board and cant wait to give it another dig tomorrow.
already mucking around with other outlines
