Warm n sunny here and no wind

Weird stuff. Thursday was due E up here and the Southern GC had the good winds in the am.
Friday it was NE all night and then it swung SW at 6am, cleaned up and stayed that way until slowly clocking around to the South while the Goldie had the onshores and the torrential rain. 44mm here vs 170mm there. Normally its the other way round.
Radar is clear so far here.
SW winds. Have to go work soon. Bugger.

We have all seen this at your local beach,dad paddles out with kid in toe and pushes the little bloke in on the inside.
Yesterday afternoon dad paddles out with a bout 3 or 4 groms,dads pushing them all in,all good until,BANG

I heard this from yell out hey hey,so I try around to see what the fuss was all aboutA mature gent never seen him before
is on a huge log,the wave shuts down on both of them and I hear a huge BANG Old fella checks on the kids yep all good and
paddles off after checking his board,kid does the same but only to find a massive fin chop,I was setting 50 yards away and I could
see it clear as day,session over

Geez that's some swell mate - the wind might be an enemy unless there's somewhere sheltered , is that onshore for you guys ????
