Lots of swell here today but its not really doing it. So I took the 10 footer out for a run at a fav reef of mine. Was 3ft on the sets and really fun. Wind came up sadly after about and hour and put a bit of a bump through it. Taking off on a 10 foot board with little to no rocker and a rolled deck is pretty entertaining on a ledgy reef at low tide - blew several waves trying

Funny a heap out today a couple of forminua faces but mostly very well behaved blow ins,same as this afternoon.
Ted you won't believe this,after hastly disregarding the FB square it was on fire today so much so its staying in the quiver.

Wow my day was different.... Checked the whole gold coast and it was crap. Ended up at LM,well I needed a 20 ft board it was that freaking small took a gamble to just over the border and that was worse. Went back to LM hoping the dropping tide would give it some nice runners.....it was now crowded and crap.....wish I surfed with you mac,cause all I saw was crap

You should have 7.30 then 1.30,what time did you do the drive bye?

I was there at 7.30 and then at 10, it was glassy,but that was the only good thing I saw..........geez now I need to buy a hit log

Surfed some tiny stuff across the pond. Walked a fair way up until I got sick of carrying the board.

Highlight is this bank will be great when we get some swell.......
Lowlights, I creased the smile ****ing board. On a shorebreak dumper. ****ing stooge I am

A few seabreeze folk spotted in the line up today,great waves a lot of people out and a comp running I still had a blast unlike one seabreezer who by no choice of his own was on the wrong gear today.

Well I can confirm it wasn't me who took my bat & ball & went home.

I had a great morning after a 6 week break, good to see Daneli & Daneli jnr out today as well.

haha, no I got waves mac but the crowd, double heats for that comp and the waves weren't that good.

and yes where you guys were was just too fat for my board


but hey, I don't mind surfing there but not all the time. there are lots of waves everywhere. its just does my head in surfing there all the time .



beside I can't be surfing soft 1 to 1and a 1/2 ft waves all the time. I think once on a weekend is enough for anyone

gee, some of those waves were frightening.

bombs away down here ....spent the morning chasing sets wave of height way above my ability on an outer bank here....got a couple
got heavily worked on one..
long rides with a monster paddle back.... 4 waves in one hour but awesome waves

hoping it holds for tomorrow

Monday morning ....school crowds but found some fun on a bank.....nice early surf 3-4ft but don't hold much hope for any size tomorrow. Seems to be failing away fast this arvo...

ps can't wait to get me grubby hands on the ten ft log.

I reckon at that length, macs measurements I could ride a bump from the alley rocks to the carpk.


I might even take it to 666 training for a run
