At work again today and it had picked up out of the south and the wind swung NE. working again tomorrow and Monday and Tuesday night before an 8 day break. Should be able to score something.
B&B I find 7 mile a bit creepy. It always seems a bit murky but it can turn on some good longboard waves at times especially the river mouth after a lot of rain.

Two blokes have been snapped on the ankle in the last few years when the waters murky. Only littelies and it's not a good idea to swim after Crooked River flushes as their is a sewage treatment plant lurking out the back. The channel that runs along the whole beach from the Heads goes out at The Wall which is the southern end of caravan park. It's sketchy around there. Besides these issues it's a great beaching for longboarders and SUP,s as long as the tribes stay in there respective groups. In another month I moving to the area full time and hoping to surf north as far as Hell Cove more often.

It has become Hell Cove up here with the crowds . I don't bother on weekends . Let me know when you're up this way

Snapped leggie on a bomb meant for a long swim . My April Fool's. Lots of waves before and great atmosphere. I really enjoyed hitting the water again at 5:45 now daylight savings is over. I find it's even more motivating to get out to work at this time of the year as I wait for cooler days and autumn swells. How grand is it to be alive........

The most amazing feeling of speed and the view is so different from down there.
