Re LL I have had the new one from Tux - still new as not surfed it these last 4 weeks except for 3 Carp efforts. So it's still new. The other one is the replacement for the Nano I broke last time I was there. It's does not even have wax on it - been saving it. I had to treat myself after the ABs strong performance

That sux...I used to surf the West end of Nanarup if the onshore was a bit light or the wind crosshore...or lowlands if the swell wasn't too big.

Not a great time of the year eh

I reckon El Niño years ruin the winds on the West coast. The swells are smaller and the winds more southerly.

Yea it wasnt this bad last year..

I reckon the last 3 years have just been worse with each successive year. The 3 years before, like 4, 5, 6 years ago were much better imo. But I'm loving wind surfing now, so only really bummed when there is zero swell & zero wind & zero fish to spear. Think I'm feeling brave enough to start spearing again, just a quick in/out not too far offshore. Water was crystal this morning & there's been a lot of good size fish around the last couple of days

todays surf report....it is FLAT

the crew will say they scored plenty.....because nobody else paddled out it was that small.

oh the little girl lacey ran over will be back learning after all the therapy to get over that unsavoury incident

Put your positive glasses on your starting to sound like Lacey

Its not as good as the report said it was going to be but I've already seen some nice sliders coming though.
Its a classic overcast day with glass to be had

True I hung around after the boys left,snap and LM had some gems coming through so I paddled out on my 207 magic board and scored big time,the best waves I've had in a couple of months the bank was primed so 2+ foot from outside LM into the beach,weather and water perfect,just cracked a beer to celebrate.Oh Steph Gilmore was out on a finless thingy

Jackson Close was smashing it on a 10 footer.

burning people again

me i got home,cracked a beer,answered a few emails....then got a text telling me where am i, there are some fun waves...

i ummed and argged then chucked a board in the car and got wet...

bit lumpy but fun head high and a bit of goodness. tomorrow is looking crap though

got off the new board and went on the old shorty and had a blast....HAPPY

Yeah I tried to get a photo of mac not dropping in but gave up.

Snaked asea on a couple too. Wave hog was mentioned to me
The only good thing is he has graduated from dropping in on girl lidders
