Ten foot for me, my 10'2 excelled today in nice big fat 3'+ waves.

Vanders it was rip and tear day today and you took your log out

Owned it mate, developing a respect for the versatility of these Hotlogs.

Asea had his 10' CW out today, I've never seen him paddle onto waves as easily as he did. Lets hope he hangs onto it for a while.

I've never had a log, only on my second performance LB.

But I reckon 10 x 23 x 3 with very little rocker & shaped like a mates board I was looking at the other week as he explained it. It was the first time I'd heard it & it was interesting to hear.

The nose is concave on the bottom yeah, as usual, but what I hadn't heard before was...the top of the nose is concave as well with a concave running down into the tail (on top). This allows water to run onto the board & flow down, helping to hold the board for nose rides. Then the tail was very different to mine. I have deep double to single concaves. His boards not concave through the tail, it tapers convex from the middle down through to the tail.

His boards 10' x 24 x 3 1/2, but hes a big bloke over 100kg. So I reckon I'd like his board shape, but 10' x 23 x 3

The dims would not be important so much as the shape would be. I want something I can stomp down onto the nose as I'm cutting through our West Oz Glass...or lack of it

Sounds interesting mick, who shaped the board?

10'ers are sick though, the improved glide factor from 9'6" to 10' is pretty amazing... Especially with my 80 odd kgs, the summer challenge is to hit 75kgs, and that's from 95!!!
