Originally recommended about 8 weeks ago...the first 20 to 25 mins literally had me laughing my ass off, I was tearing up it was so funny...but then the gears changed when they felt they had you & a lot of opinions presented as factual truth soured the show & they stomped the propaganda gas pedal...ultimately ending with a couple of statements I personally strongly disagree with...

I do agree though, the first 20 to 25 mins is hilarious. What makes it extra interesting is Mr Jacksons personal beliefs vs the character he was paid to present here & that says a lot about what you hear these days. But in the end as always, yes its best to think for yourself...

It's entertainment written by a comedy writer..
Take it for what it is, a light entertainment TV show. .

Yes good call, 'the office' has been recommended quite a few times before as well . Great show

The pommie version is heaps better than the yank one,Ricky Gervais is so good ,downloaded tubing yesterday and there's great surf vids on it and yeah some watchable B grade movies which suit me as I'm pretty B Grade myself

Been watching lots of sailing - I used to do it in 14' skiffs.

I always prefer the English version over the American ones . Bit like 'shameless ', English version is so good,I found the American one to be very so so. I did like the American office though,but as you say the pom version is better

Also my dark secret is I love b grade kung fu movies,they are the best

Thanks for PM...almost finished the US version, glancing the UK its a similar script. Quite like the US characters, will be interesting to see if the UK one grow on me the same way. Thinking possibly most saw the UK version first. Jokes are typically best the first time round

Thanks m8, already have all the UK episodes from the 2 series & look forward to watching them when I finish the US one. Maybe have another go at the US series, the character development is pretty bloody good. I'm expecting I will like the UK version as well the comedy is very similar...cheers

You have to take your hat off to Tom Brady and his ability to just keep producing. He is like the Kelly Slater of American football.

What was I watching ? Was watching the surf cam for Bondi which seemed to be covering all of the bases for likely swell size
