Am still very excited about friday morning (not quite so excited about the 11 second wave period)
am even taking friday off work to fully savour the occasion
And even taking a camera out so will be able to reveal whether it is a McTavish or a 666 occasion

Monring guys should have some photos a bit later , giz was paddlen round with a boxbrownie on his back (think he was trying to be George Greenough) his last name is very similar , any way he was having a ball as you should on your birthday great waves sunshine frost on the ground not too crowded

No mac the guy on the long board is Brett Hall , I worked with his father when I first shifted here he was still going to primary school then . Being a bit hard on gizzie at 72 but he is older than you and me .We do have a 72 yr old long boarder here though and he rides a mac t fireball holds a few NZ titles . I can't trick giz on to and LB mate always has a paddle in his hand
