Morning lads filthy northerlies and three days up my sleeves

I have been working the last four months at a nursing home on the coast and once a week a fellow comes in to sing to all the oldies he is a Maori or Tongan fella maybe mid forties built like a brick you know what and really good looking. He wears a suit and mingles amongst the crowd and every now and then has a dance with one of the old girls who can still get around, he will go to some of the oldies who are bed bound hold their hands and sing softly into their ears he has the most incredible voice. The oldies love him and you can feel the warmth and happiness he brings to them Im not religious but he is the closest thing to an angel I have ever seen.
I also work with a Maori nurse who is one of the most experienced nurses I have ever seen with palliative care, she keeps a fresh bottle of sea water and when things get hard for her emotionally she sprays herself with sea water to cleanse and focus. It got me thinking just how nice it is when you get to the beach summer or winter do that first duck dive and feel lifes troubles wash away. Just thought I would share some thoughts

Cheers Boof
